I...Oh, the daunting impossibility of the TBR purge! I can't bring myself to do it, even though I know I must because mine is way too long. But I also think that tolerance for the length of the TBR list varies from person to person. Some can't tolerate more than five or six books on it. For others, it's 10 or even 100 times that many.

I do keep an organized list of my ARCs, though I don't necessarily read them in order. And in a slump, I read whatever I want to, or I can't climb out of the slump.Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoardhttp://bookwyrmshoard.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141478629295744121.post-64932398332498044712014-12-21T16:43:05.702-08:002014-12-21T16:43:05.702-08:00Great points - priority books help with the pile, ...Great points - priority books help with the pile, but purging is a necessary evil.Julie S.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141478629295744121.post-35606688459844943232014-12-18T20:41:48.141-08:002014-12-18T20:41:48.141-08:00I still need to do a lot of these things myself. I find it difficult to do though, (especially with stop adding to my TBR list!) but sometimes I need to organize! I have given up on the library completely at this point since I have so many I want to read here. The one thing I would add which you talk about a little at the bottom is to read the book that is most appealing to you since you'll probably read faster and find more reading time when you are super excited about the book!Anya E. Knowing that I can start reading now and choose which one I'm in the mood for. And then making sure I only sign up for books I am interested in helps ;)Alyssaznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141478629295744121.post-37367490741145518402014-12-16T07:22:28.747-08:002014-12-16T07:22:28.747-08:00I tried keeping an organized list at one time, but...I tried keeping an organized list at one time, but I'm a major mood reader. So, while I try to bump eARC's to the top of the list, I generally give myself permission to read whatever sounds good at the time. Trying to force myself through a scheduled book I'm not enjoying usually leads to a slump. :(Kel @ Booked til Tuesdayhttp://bookedtiltuesday.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
