My Thoughts:
Kayse Pratt is at it again! I had such a blast being on the launch team for her Undivided Mom Devo that I leaped at being on the team for her newest book. Literally. Like I was the second person to join the Facebook group. Pratt's latest devotional tackles high maintenance marriages. Contrary to popular belief, just because you are a Christian does not mean you find marriage any easier. And it can get tough.

Pratt found five essentials in maintaining her marriage--Commitment, Communication, Service, Laughter, and Sex--and very briefly expounds on each topic. She gets personal and honest, opening a window into her marriage for us all to peek through.

My biggest complaint was that it was too short! I could easily read more from her on the topic. Luckily, she provides a challenge at the end of each section. This helped me keep her concepts in the front of my mind throughout the day. Pratt also includes "Weapons for Battle" which includes printable Bible verses to hang throughout your home and a good list of resources.

"Worth the Fight" is straightforward and short, but heart-warming and inspiring. Pratt's personal touch added just the right mix to keep us hooked. I rate this devotional as 4.5 stars and would recommend it to all married couples in high maintenance marriages as a quick check up.
