He is. He’s
going to kiss me. She thought they
couldn’t get any closer on this piano stool but she was wrong. His face is near
hers now, his green eyes intent. He touches her cheek with his fingers and
traces a line to her chin, which he lifts, gently, almost like he’s done this a
million times before.
His breath is on her lips
and she can actually hear her own heart thudding. She’s sure he can, too,
