This is my first ever Feature & Follow! I am totally excited! I want to find more book blogs to be following on my Feedly!
I love Feedly more than Bloglovin' (am I the only one??), but feel free to follow anyway you would like, including Twitter (@sunrise_books) or Goodreads (Alyssa Zech).
This week's question:
What do you do with your books after you're done reading them?
Answer: Shelve them! Currently I have one tall shelf for fiction alphabetized by author's last name, and another for non-fiction divided by section (cookbook, family, womanhood, etc) and then by author. But now I have so many books that I can't fit them in where they belong! So they sorta just hang out, stacked where ever I put them.BUT! If anyone has some hints on how to organize Kindle books, I would great appreciate it!! I wish I could organize them somehow to make finding what I want to read so much easier!
Have a great weekend!!
My husband gave me a hard time with having so many books everywhere. So as a compromise I donated ones that weren't my absolute faves to the library when we moved. I still have a small hidden stack that I'm thinking of giving away soon on my blog. Most of what I buy now is for the Kindle :) Happy Friday! New bloglovin follower.

My husband is always asking why I need a new book! How did I marry a non-reader?? :) Thanks for the follow! I will return!

Thanks for stopping by my humble abode! Maybe soon I will get a picture up of my shelves. I have seen some PACKED ones out there, and mine aren't there yet, but getting close :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by my FF!
ReplyDeleteI need a new way to organize my Kindle books, too. I hate that they all just chill out in read order. I need to make "shelves," like I can in the iBooks application. I haven't found anything like that for the Kindle app, so I guess I'll have to suffer with the way they are now.

Hopping through. Cool that you've organized your books so well! I should be better about that.

I love the sound of your organization system! I usually organize mine by favorites.
ReplyDeleteI like feedly, I think I actually like it more than Bloglovin, but I've gotten used to Bloglovin lately. I followed you on feedly, though!
Hmm I think I made it sound better than it really is! :)
ReplyDeleteI am having a tough time falling in love with Bloglovin...its just so...plain. Thanks for stopping in!
ReplyDeleteGreat to alphabetize your books.
ReplyDeleteHere is what I do.
I keep the ones I like and then lend them out. My friends call it Elizabeth's Lending Library.
If I don't like them, I take them to the library for their annual book sale or for our book club's book swap month.
