My Thoughts:
***This review will contain spoilers for books one and two. Proceed with caution***
Let me use a Minnesotan phrase here: Uff-da! There is a LOT of action in this episode. Deaths, clashes with Indians, kidnappings, ice skating. Looking back, all I can wonder is how did so much happen in so few pages?

Ben Croftner is still up to his evil, creepy tactics, but this time he ropes in Rand's fiancee Jessica who is more than ready to be rid of Sarah. Coble then takes us on a fast paced, crazy adventure. If this series is six books long, this one feels like the climax.

We end on a happy, hopeful note. However, it also makes me wonder what books four, five and six could be about. Establishing a life on the frontier? That would be such a different direction than what the series has already been. Seeing as I have book four on my nightstand, I don't have to wait long to find out :)

'Episode' three delivers another satisfying read in the 'Journey of the Heart' series. I wouldn't stop at book two if I were you! 3.5 stars
